Coaching

In October we will be running 3 Costa Blanca holidays for 3 different levels of climber:

L0 - Intro to outdoor sport climbing and learn to lead;
No previous outdoor experience required.

L1 - General outdoor skills, onsight, flash and redpointing;
Some outdoor lead experience required, no grade limit.

L2 - Redpointing workshop, push your grade;
Ideally able to lead 6b outdoors and want to improve.

In Feb/ March 2013 we will be running the same 3 holidays but in the Lleida region of Catalunya (dates will be confirmed later in the year).

If you would like any private individual or group coaching with Gaz or Kate they are both available in the UK from April to August 2012 and in the Costa Blanca or Catalunya from September 2012 to March/ April 2013.

In September 2012 Gaz will be guest coach on Adrian Berry's Kalymnos course. Places for kalymnos always sell fast so book early to avoid disappointment.

Irish John from Swiss - Redpointed 7b

I work as a coach for many different people in numerous walks of life. Everybody has different requirements and as a coach it is my responsibility to provide the solutions to the challenges my clients face. From learning the basic techniques right from the start to advanced athlete development and maintenance programmes, I have the tools to take your climbing forwards and upwards.


My client base runs from one to one clients, small and personal groups to large regular group sessions. Past and current clients include The Ratho Climbing Centre, The Castle Climbing Wall and The Climbing Academy Youth squads, the Inter-services World Championship Team and The British Bouldering Team. With the British Team I work alongside Nic Clement and we actively organise monthly Team Trainings and work closely with the Brittish Boulder team throughout the year.


In the past I worked as a Planet Fear Coach until they stopped running holidays in 2008. I was a regular coach with Planet Fear running group holidays to Kalymnos, Sardinia and Fontainebleau as well as Portland and the Peak District in the UK. In 2012 I will be joining Adrian Berry as 2nd coach on his 'Positive Climbing' holidays.


I run coaching holidays around the world including annual Costa Blanca and Catalunya holidays. Clients can attend our fixed date holidys or get in touch to book you dream trip anywhere in the World.

Indoor Masterclasses are 1.5hrs and cost 75 GBP for one-to-one sessions and 100 GBP for groups of 2-4 clients.
(Wall entry is payable by clients + travel expenses may be payable outside London)

Outdoor coaching is 150GBP per day for one-to-one and 250 GBP for groups of 2-6 clients.

Larger groups (eg. universities, schools, climbing clubs) can be acommodated on request. Please email for a quote.
